This site contains three titles which all work together to form a single technology for UNIX administration.
- Secure, Web-Based UNIX System Administration Tools
(KSC-12269)
The secure, web-based UNIX system administration tools ease the administration of a large, distributed UNIX system. These tools provide a secure mechanism for creating, modifying, locking, and deleting users. A tool is also available for users to change their UNIX password and log-in shell. These functions can be performed from a UNIX system or from a PC. The tools provide error checking and have greatly reduced the problems associated with managing over 1,000 users on some NASA projects.

- Client/Server To Create, Modify, And Query VERITAS File System Quotas On An NFS-Mounted File System With A Secure Web-Based Interface
(KSC-12268)
This technology was developed by UNIX system analysts. The client/server provides a secure mechanism to create, modify, and query on an NFS-mounted VERITAS file system. The client exists on an internal secure platform with a secure web interface. The client can be accessed from any authorized platform capable of running a web browser. The server software exists on a UNIX platform configured with the VERITAS file system. Directories where VERITAS quotas are applied are NFS mounted and shared to other UNIX platforms.
