The use of soft computing technologies in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) discipline has seen an increase of use in real-world systems over the past few years. As such, to enhance learning and understanding of scientists and engineers, we have developed an interactive AI toolkit, with a specific focus on soft computing techniques for robotic applications. The core elements of this educational software package are:
- Comprehensible training modules on three AI soft computing technologies, namely: genetic algorithms, neural networks, and fuzzy logic.
- Interactive graphical interfaces for providing hands-on examples of applying AI techniques to real-world research problems.
- The three soft computing methodologies currently embedded within the toolkit include Fuzzy Logic, Genetic Algorithms, and Neural Networks
